Why Rising Sun?

I chose the name Rising Sun Coaching because I believe that each one of us is like a bright, powerful sun, with light and energy to share with the world.

When we live lives aligned with who we truly are at our core, our light shines for everyone to see and feel. When we feel like we are without purpose or are not as happy as we could be, it is like our light and energy is below the horizon. It has the potential to be bright and strong, but it is hidden from view.

Coaching helps people bring their lives into alignment with who they are at their core, with a clear purpose and with greater happiness. During the process of coaching, a client is like a rising sun, coming out from behind the horizon, ready to shine for the whole world.

When I look back on the journey that brought me to coaching, I felt like my life, my energy, and my gifts were hidden from view. As I found clarity and purpose in life, friends and colleagues noticed how I “lit up” more than before and “shined brightly” when I talked about the changes I was making in my life. I felt more aligned with who I really was and my energy increased.

I found more happiness and meaning in life as I rose above the horizon.

We all have the happiness, meaning, and purpose inside of us, and sometimes we need a little assistance for it to rise above the horizon.

My mission is to help my clients’ lives shine brightly so they can change the world.
